pretend like this has not been done since january. actually, pretend like it has. pretend like discord announced the implementation of age verification that was, for me, a bridge too far in trusting the platform with my data and access to my personal relationships. pretend like the arts collective that made this zine, in the immediate, seemingly cosmically ordained moment when we finished our largest collaboration yet, had to grapple with the loss of the main platform we used to connect to each other. pretend like the internet is getting worse in our lifetimes. pretend so we don't have to deal with the fact that it is.
but there is media outside of social media, and so here we are. initially this was distributed as physical copies at pride in panels as well as sour cherry comics in san francisco as a proof of concept. i think it's neat (🥔) so there will almost certainly be a volume 2. if you'd like to be included in future volumes, reach out to me at sid @ colorbash.art !

Clara Fielding is a furry cartoonist who creates work
that tries to depict the feelings of the everyday through
striking visual language in comics and animation. She
is the director of the transÂallegorical animated body
horror short film “Wing Story,” and is currently working
on a comic about skateboarding lesbian dogs, energy
drinks, and the beauty of the night. When she’s not
drawing she loves watching weird movies, reading and
going to shows with friends.

VOIDLOT started as a sound only project in 2023 by
Isaac (it/its), a disabled french artist who spent 2
weeks bedridden bored out of its mind, and needed
an outlet. All the music is made with vocals or
